Snapshot of Death

It always surprises me
That when things or people die
That life around them
When all I want to do
For a little while

As you say, when life doesn't take time to examine, things appear to have died... and that is all we see. But when we do stop and ponder for just a little while, we realize that in many cases... ones' death often gives another life!

Death sucks. Let's just be honest about that for a bit. Czeslaw Milosz, Polish poet: "Whoever considers as normal the order of things in which the strong triumph, and the weak fail, and life ends with death, accepts the devil's rule."

Love you Val. And terribly proud of you.
ps. amazing, amazing picture.

Do allow yourself to stop for a does keep going, and soon enough you'll have to put one foot in front of the other again, but it's very important to just stop from time to time.
Ingrid has left you a great legacy of love and deep trust in God, wisdom, caring and gentleness. What a gift she has been to you. Love you -- MOM
